Buku ini secebis balikan kepada segenap tindakan dan kejahilan itu. Ia cuba menjinakkan keghairahan kita untuk menjadi hakim dan juri terhadap ulama, ilmuwan dan ahliLLah yang segenap kehidupan mereka menjadi kekasih Allah. Andai saja mereka berfikir begini: katakan saja para wali ini, tidak benar; segala tulisan dan pandangan kita yang menimbulkan syak wasangka dan memperolok-olokkan itu mungkin saja sudah terjebak dalam dosa ghibah.

Namun, bagaimana kalau para wali itu benar-benar kekasih Allah, apakah kedudukan kita pada pandangan Allah sebagai makhluk-Nya yang memperolok-olokkan kekasih-Nya?
