A photographic history of the beatles: "With beautiful, full-color pictures chronicling

First off, the book is sectioned out according to the events that happened in the Beatles' career i. Pepper etc. Each section has its own introduction describing the events that defined those years like touring, Brian Epstein's accidental death, marriages, drugs etc. Another thing about the pictures is that the majority of them are candid shots with the occasional publicity shot thrown in, but most of them show the Beatles onstage, leaving or arriving at places, meeting fans, etc.

This is what really makes this collection of photos really likable: it's not one photo after another of some tightly controlled photo shoot with perfect lighting etc. This book is by no means "complete" but for the price it's definitely worth it to give the average person a better understanding of the Beatles. That tells their story through their own words, along with pictures and video.
